How to set up a content upgrade?

This guide will show you how to set up a content upgrade so that guests will be asked to enter their email to unlock the content on your blog post.

1) Create a blog post

1) Create a blog post by finding the membership / blog section on the left-side navigation.

2) Then click "posts."

3) Then click create new post.

2) Add media to the post

Scroll down to the area where it says add media to the post. Click the button to add the media you want to use as a content upgrade.

3) While adding media, make sure to set the media to "gated" when asked to use as gated content / content upgrade.

Click on "save updates" when you're done.

4) For the email capture to work, make sure the blog post is "free" 

Only free blog posts can use the email capture feature. Paid posts automatically show all content upgrades without needing an email. This is because a paid member is already logged in and you already have their email.
